Information on tour creation/development subsidy program

We have a subsidy program for travel agencies that prepare travel packages for the purpose of revitalizing the local economy by expanding the exchange population, which will lead to tourism, commercial promotion, and also the promotion of primary producers’ diversification into processing and distribution (sixth sector industrialization)

Travel packages eligible for this program

Groups that eat one or more meals at restaurants and visit two or more tourist destinations that are located in the city. Or groups that stay at accommodations in the city and visit three or more sightseeing spots that are located in the city (15 or more passengers per bus).

However, for travel packages that use other subsidies or grants from the city, those conducted for meetings and training for national or local governments, those done for religious or political exercises, and any other thing that the mayor deems inappropriate, will not be accepted.

Subsidy amount

1.Group trip requirements: Eat at least one meal at a restaurant, and visit at least two sightseeing spots in the city.

Private bus (group) / 30,000 yen

2.Group trip where participants visit at least three sightseeing spots and stay at accommodations located in the city

Private bus (group) / 60,000 yen

In the case of travel merchandise that has been publicly advertised (limited to tour names that are acknowledged to lead to PR for Usa City)

20,000 yen

* Maximum subsidy amount for tour groups: 150,000 yen, Maximum subsidy amount for businesses: 300,000 yen
