Spend time in Ajimu, the birthplace of Nouhaku (farm stay)
In the "Farm stay" program you will stay in a private house in a farming village and experience the everyday life of the countryside while spending time as part of the family. We will welcome you with all our hearts and with the feeling that "If you stay once, it's like your a distant relative, and if you stay ten times, it's like your family." we hope that by the time it's over you can call Ajimu another home.
Being the first city in Japan to use this program, Usa City is called "the birthplace of green tourism and Farm stay," and it currently welcomes over 9,000 people annually to about 40 different households in the city.
You will experience activities different from your daily life, such as working in farm fields, harvesting vegetables, and making bamboo chopsticks.

About educational trips
"Ajimu method" The goal of farm village lodging is to welcome students like one of their own children, and make them feel at home through heart-to-heart exchange. Students split up into small groups and stay in private homes in the area. The students will also do farm work alongside the family and spend time around the dinner table getting to know one another.
